Surprise Quizzes! :\

What if you could be ready for those surprise quizzes?

Wouldn't it be great to be able to A+ that quiz and have a bunch of points to bump up your grade? To be able to look at the whiteboard or page with extreme calmness and think, "I've got this!" :) To sit with a silent smile on your face that will make others wonder, "How does she do it?!".

Drilling/Practicing sometimes make students cringe. This doesn't help the teacher or the parent at all. When a student doesn't want to cooperate, it frustrates everyone.

Then, how do you engage a student? From a student's perspective, kids love to follow the "shiny thing". They enjoy cool, slick, and new things that are hip, fun, etc. Today Technology is becoming more accesible to education (which you already know). There are many different tools out there that you can use, though I'll be concentrating on our app, QuizCloud.

QuizCloud should help with this problem. In QuizCloud you can:

  • Personalize Your Own Quizzes
  • Download Other's Quizzes from the Cloud
  • Quiz Yourself
  • Oh and I almost forgot... share your quiz with others to use too!
This tool looks very similar to iLiveMath which is really nice. You can literally make your own iLive Series of quizzes that have pictures you want, vocabulary you're learning, and questions you want asked.
Next time you can ace that quiz, know all the facts, and be confident!
